Richard completed 17 of 24 passes for 217 yards with four touchdowns and added 66 yards rushing and two scores. Latrell Collier had 112 yards rushing on 16 carries and a touchdown for North Carolina Central (5-1, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Richard threw a touchdown pass each to E.J. Hicks and Devin Smith in the first quarter and then ran for scores from 11 and 42 yards early in the second. Richard's 3-yard TD pass to Smith just before the break stretched the Eagles' lead to 42-17. Richard added a 12-yard score to J'mari Taylor late in the third. Richard completed 12 of 17 passes for 148 yards and was intercepted twice. Mosley had three carries for 72 yards rushing and his 58-yard run gave the Eagles a 52-7 lead in the fourth quarter.   Davius Richard threw two touchdown passes and ran for 140 yards and a score to power North Carolina Central to a 45-27 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday. Richard opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run. Khalil Baker returned an interception for a score, Richard connected with Joaquin Davis for a 34-yard touchdown and North Carolina Central (3-0) led 21-7 after one quarter.

Max Brosmer kept New Hampshire (2-1) within striking distance with three first-half touchdown passes — two to DJ Linkins — to trail 28-21 at halftime. Richard hooked up with Devin Smith for a 10-yard touchdown in the third quarter and J'mari Taylor added an 18-yard TD run in the fourth. The Eagles held the Wildcats to six points in the second half. Richard completed 18 of 27 passes for 194 yards. He rushed 16 times. The trip to Bank of America Stadium was NCCU's eighth game played in an NFL stadium since 2000. The Eagles now are 6-2 in pro venues. It was the 93rd meeting between the two schools.
